Central Park Sunset Tour
Time: 2:00 pm - 4:30 pm
The Arsenal @ 64th St and 5th Ave
Each tour begins in front of The Arsenal, just down the stairs into Central Park located at the corner of 5th Avenue and East 64th Street. The Arsenal is in same part of the park as the famous Central Park Zoo and many of our guests choose to visit the zoo before taking the tour. The tour ends on the west side of the park at The American Museum of Natural History on 81st Street and Central Park West.
Take an N, R, or W train to the Fifth Avenue/59th Street station in Manhattan, and walk north four blocks to 64th Street. You may also take an F or Q train to Lexington Ave/63rd Street then walk west 3 blocks to Fifth Avenue then take a right, and walk one block north. Or take the Lexington Avenue 6 train to the 68th Street/Hunter College station, walk west 3 blocks to Fifth Avenue, then take a left and walk four blocks south.
*Some of our guests have used the A, B, C, D, or 1 trains to come to Columbus Circle though we don’t generally recommend this route as you’ll be on the opposite side of the park and may get lost if you decide to come through the park. If you should come via Columbus Circle, we recommend that you walk east on 59th Street and then North on 5th Ave to 64th St.
The following buses stop on Fifth Avenue, between 59th and 64th Streets: M1, M2, M3, M4, M5, M30, Q32.
If you are visiting by car, consider the following garages: Narragansett Garage at 124 E. 63rd Street, Regency Garage Corp. at 245 E. 63rd Street, Renoir Garage at 225 E. 63rd Street, or Distinctive Parking at 35 E. 61st Street. No parking is available in the park itself. Please note that the tour ends on the west side of the park so you will need to walk or taxi back to the parking garage.
